Archive - Statement by Democratic Reform Minister Pierre Poilievre Regarding the Government of Canada's Request for a Stay in the Frank Case

Ottawa, ON, June 23, 2014 - The Honourable Pierre Poilievre, P.C., M.P. for Nepean-Carleton, Minister of State (Democratic Reform), made the following statement today regarding the Ontario Court of Appeal's decision in the Frank et al. v. The Attorney General of Canada case:

“We are disappointed that the Court of Appeal has not agreed to a stay of the May 2, 2014, decision of the Ontario Superior Court pending its final judgment in our appeal.”
